The Turn Instrument

oxexp-turn-instrument · the stencil made live

The stencil — step it through

The sheet live: pick a frame size and a word, then step act by act. Each act draws the knight’s move; at every station the CONSTRAINT STAR’s blocked moves FOLD at the frame edge onto their mirror cells (his grey cells) — the doubled ghost, ON the diagonal, is THE MIRROR BIT; the one near-cell the fold never touches is THE LINEARITY CELL (his green). The R₁ register banks out:in; the √2 register advances one station per frame, its residue bit the corner bit of the sheet.

frame:
act 0 of 4 — the walk waits at the origin station
station (orange) linearity cell (his green) fold ghost (his grey) the doubled ghost — THE MIRROR BIT the red window the corridor

R₁ — the out:in register (the externality’s census)

stationoutinratio

√2 — the diagonal register (his 1:4 margin)

frame(s, d)d²−2s²d/sside
the act-2 cut waits — step to act 2

The gate — honest acceptance

The observable, the protocol, the calibration witness, and the ladder’s standing — derived from the engine’s own acceptance, never asserted here.

The ladder — registrations, runs, and verdicts

One rung per FRAME (N=10 the sheet · N=20 · N=40; the whole alphabet enumerated; seconds each). Frame 3 lands the descent knife and refuses until frames 1 and 2 stand. The acts are the operator’s; the engine refuses out-of-order acts.

The external anchor

A frame’s records to the immutable EXTERNAL record (mldata CKAN when configured; the dummy-node fallback otherwise) — the archive record is the citable object, never this host.
